- Properties offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by Luxury Lanzarote Villas/Lanza Production Services SLU (“THE OWNER”) to the renter (‘THE CLIENT).
- The rental period will be the period booked by the client on the booking form
- To reserve the Property for the rental period, the Client should complete and sign the appropriate booking form and return it together with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit (25% of the total due). Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, the owner will send confirmation via e-mail. This is the formal acceptance of the booking. Payment must be made by bank transfer and can be paid either in Euros or sterling.
- The final balance payment is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the Rental Period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Owner reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
- The person who originally signed the booking form must make any cancellations to the owner in writing. Cancellation will take effect from the date written notice is received. Should cancellation be made prior to 8 weeks before the start date of the rental period, the Owner will retain only the deposit. Cancellation after this point will result in the full balance being retained..
- In the event of a fully paid "no show" all monies will be retained by the owner and administration charges may be incurred.
- The Owner will do their best to comply with amendments to the original booking if they are requested in a reasonable period of time prior to the departure date. The owner may charge reasonable administration costs for carrying out any such amendments and the client will be notified of what these charges will be in advance of the requested amendment being made.
- The Rental Period should finish before 10.00am on the last day to allow for preparation of the villa. If the new clients arrive at the property before 2.00pm and the property is not fully prepared for their arrival, they may leave their luggage at the property and return once it is prepared. The owner will not be liable for any luggage left at the property during this period.
- Under no circumstances can the number of people of any age residing in the Property during part or all of the holiday exceed that number stated on the booking form. Additional guests must be advised in writing prior to the holiday and this must not exceed the maximum occupancy stated for each villa. The property is only for the use by the named persons shown on the booking form and no subletting or sharing is permitted.
- The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a reasonably clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The client also agrees not to act in a manner that would cause any disturbance to those residents in neighbouring properties. The Client is responsible for the security of the property during their stay and should take all reasonable precautions to ensure security of the villa during periods when they are away from the property. The Client agrees that they have paid for the amount of persons staying in the property and if they wish to make use of all beds/bedrooms this will incur an additional charge for laundry/cleaning and agree to pay for this. The payment will be deducted from the security deposit payment on the day of departure.
- The Client shall report to the Owner or their appointed representative without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown of any appliance in the Property and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible.
- The Owner shall not be liable to the Client:-
i.) For any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery in the property, grounds or swimming pool.
ii.) For any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of The Owner. - The client is strongly advised to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover of EVERY party’s personal belongings, public liability and other INSURABLE RISKS since they are not covered by the Owner’s insurance.
- Personal Belongings are at the Client’s own risk. The Owner accepts no responsibility for any personal injury or loss or damage to the client’s belongings.
- Under no circumstances shall The Owner’s liability to the client exceed the amount paid to The Owners for the rental. The Swimming Pool & Hot Tub are provided for use at the Client’s own risk. The Owner strongly advises that children are not left unattended in the pool, hot tub or surrounding area. Diving or running in the pool area is not allowed. Any damage caused to the hot tub due to misuse will be charged for.
- It is a legal requirement that the owner registers all guests over the age of 16 with the Guardia Civil within 24hours of your arrival. This tasks is performed by a third party “Villa Check In”, all information will be gathered from the guests at the airport upon arrival into Lanzarote. Once this task has been performed, all relevant villas codes will be handed to the guests.
- If any party conduct illegal activities via the wifi during the rental period, the relevant authorities will be notified. It is not permitted to remove the wifi unit from the rental property, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure the wifi unit remains at the property at all times. Loss or damage to the equipment may result in a charge. Settlement of payment of such charge will be immediate.
- Payment of any hire items requested on your behalf must be settled on your arrival at the property.
- The BBQ must be left clean upon departure, failure to do this will result in €150 cleaning fee deductable from the security deposit.
- The owner reserves the right to terminate your holiday due to misconduct, evict any unathorised persons not noted on the booking form, evict any person causing undue disturbances or damage to the property or evict for any unathorised extended time at the property.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SECURITY DEPOSIT OF €300. THIS MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO ARRIVAL (IN ADDITION TO THE PRICE OF RENTAL) AND WILL BE REFUNDED ON DEPARTURE PROVIDING THE PROPERTY IS HANDED OVER IN GOOD ORDER WITH NO DAMAGES INCURRED.
